This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, subscriptions, and billing disputes are handled for services provided by Gremlin Labs LLC ("Gremlin Labs," "we," "us," or "our").
By purchasing, subscribing to, or using paid Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Subscription Services
Gremlin Labs may offer subscription-based access to AI-powered tools, content generation services, credits, and other premium features. Subscriptions may be offered on:
- Monthly billing cycles
- Annual billing cycles
- Other billing periods described at purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
2. Free Trials
Gremlin Labs may offer free trials, promotional access, or introductory offers. Unless otherwise stated:
- Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period.
- You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
- Gremlin Labs may modify or discontinue free trials at any time.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account settings; or
- By contacting Gremlin Labs support.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Cancellation does not immediately terminate access to paid features. Unless otherwise stated:
- Monthly subscriptions remain active through the end of the current billing period.
- Annual subscriptions remain active through the end of the current annual term.
No partial-period refunds are provided except where required by law.
4. Customer Refunds
Customers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Because payments are processed by Paddle, refund eligibility and processing are handled through Paddle as Merchant of Record.
To request a refund, please contact us at help@gremlinlabs.ai or contact Paddle directly using the purchase confirmation details.
After the 14-day period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or approved at our discretion.
5. Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us promptly. Gremlin Labs will investigate documented billing errors and, where appropriate, issue corrections or refunds. Examples may include:
- Duplicate charges;
- Incorrect subscription charges;
- Unauthorized billing resulting from a system error.
6. Service Outages
Gremlin Labs strives to provide reliable Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. In the event of a significant outage directly caused by Gremlin Labs that substantially prevents access to paid Services for an extended period, Gremlin Labs may, in its sole discretion:
- Issue account credits;
- Extend subscription periods; or
- Provide partial refunds.
Nothing in this section creates a guaranteed right to compensation.
7. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws. Where local law provides additional refund rights, those rights remain unaffected.
8. Credits and Usage-Based Purchases
If Gremlin Labs offers credits, usage balances, or similar virtual items:
- Credits have no cash value;
- Credits are non-transferable;
- Credits are not redeemable for money;
- Unused credits are generally non-refundable.
Refunds for credit purchases may be granted where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
9. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, we encourage customers to contact us so that we may attempt to resolve the issue.
If a chargeback is initiated:
- Gremlin Labs may suspend account access while the dispute is investigated;
- Gremlin Labs may provide relevant account and billing records to the payment processor;
- Gremlin Labs reserves the right to dispute fraudulent or abusive chargebacks.
Nothing in this section limits your legal rights.
10. Future Pricing Changes
Gremlin Labs may modify pricing from time to time. For active subscriptions:
- Changes will apply at the next renewal period;
- Reasonable advance notice will be provided where practical.
Continued use of the Services following renewal constitutes acceptance of updated pricing.
11. Changes to This Policy
Gremlin Labs may update this Policy periodically. Material changes may be communicated through:
- Website notices;
- Email notifications; or
- In-product notifications.
Continued use of paid Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
